Over two continuous weeks, the Treebank team and local residents planted thousands of native trees on the hillsides of the Da River headwaters.
The headwater area plays a key role in retaining water and preventing landslides for the entire downstream region.
Every planted tree is geo-tagged so its survival rate can be tracked over the coming seasons.
